THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME
The Ship of Theseus:
why does it keep its name?
An ancient Greek paradox tells of the ship of the hero Theseus. Over the years, its rotting planks were replaced one by one, until not a single original part remained.
Yet people still called it the Ship of Theseus — because its purpose and its role never changed.
TDL is built on the same idea. AI advances, accounting standards change, the industry's needs evolve — and TDL keeps evolving with the latest technology. For its users, it remains the familiar, trusted data platform they rely on.
Always evolving, never changing. That is what our team means by "Theseus Data Lake."
